i have 97 gc se with a non working cluster. the rpm and the speedometer is on zero and temp and fuel gauge pointer are on the middle. when in cycle the key to pullout the code i receive a 55 code. what can be the problem?

 

Try banging on the dash top and see if it comes on. If it does you will need to do the dash fix. You might also try disconnecting the BCM for 5 mins and then reconnecting. Could be a bad module.

 

what happen if disconnecting the bcm doesn't work what would be the next problem or what other thing i can do to fix the problem
