i have turned the retainer ring to where it's loose, but the bulb assembly won't budge. same thing on both sides. how do i get them out?

 

wiggle the bulb, it should slide out, if not, its only 4 10mm bolts holding each headlight, you can just simlpy unbolt them, & pull them off the van & then you can grab onto the bulb with a more rearward motion
