Need to replace drivers mirror on 2003 Grand Caravan Sport. Looks simple enough, but how does the trim ring come off?

 

The triangular shaped plate that covers the bolts is snapped on. It breaks sometimes, tricky to get it off without doing so. Its only like $10 if you do break it. No other secrets other than if it is equipped with power mirrors, the connector lives by the speaker in the top of the dash, meaning you have to remove the Pillar trim at the side of the windshield and lift up the foreward most section of the dash at the base of the windshield.
