Location of starter in 1999 van

My hubby and father have a starter to replace mine broken one but they can't seem tofind where it is. Can someone lead me in the right area of where they mightb e able to find it? Thanks bunches!

Just above the oil pan I believe. I haven't done it but It looks like a hard job. Anyone feel free to chime in that has some experence with this repair..
