Just changed the transmission oil.
(see related post at https://dodgeforum.com/m_579005/tm.htm). Before change the tranny had started to occasionaly not shift correctly between 1st and 2nd, the engine would rev up and then it would shift. Now that's gone, but occasionaly (once per day) when coming to a stop, the shift from 2nd to 1st comes just before stopping with a small lurch.
Does anybody know what the problem could be? 96 Caravan 3.8L A604, third tranny.

Interesting since I have the exact same problem. The transmission shop has had this now for 3 weeks and cannot find the solution and last I talked with them they had to send it to dodge for the resolve. I will let you know when I know. It's driving me nuts.
