Default squeky brakes

I own an '04 caravan from new. It has less than 35000 miles. I had replaced the brakes twice in less than 28000 miles with organic pads. now apparently for the third time at about 33000 mile i have had them replaced apparently with a metallic based pads, now the new brakes sound like a train stopping on the tracks. It is very bad. The dealership is saying that this is normal. I am a little confused because I do not think this should be the case at all. I think I am beiong told what they want me to believe so they will stop trying to fix the issue, they are now recommending ceramic brake pads - like c'mon, it's a van not a fricken indy car!!!!!!!
Anyway, has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any ideas?

Seems GC came with metallic pads. And yes they do emit alot more sound that you might expect. But it is normal. UNLESS you opt for ceramic pads. They make a very big difference in quietness and have alot less brake dust. If you want a change in sound, go to the ceramic brakes.
