Hi,

We are having issues with the power liftgate on our van. When you push either button, keypad or interior, for to open the gate , it will beep and then act like it wants to open but doesn't. It will also not close on it's own. It used to pull itself shut when gently latched. Anybody have this problem? Anybody know how to fix it? Thanks for any info anybody has.

I've got the same exact problem with my 2002 ES, although it is intermittent. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes it doesn't. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who may have figured out how to fix this.
