Which Brand New Mini Vans is best??
Toyota, Ford, Honda, Chevrolet, Dodge, Chrysler, Mazda or Nissan??
Based on the great cars that Toyota and Honda make, will their Mini Vans be great as well.

Dodge and Ford are a hit and miss. The winstar or freestyle are garbage and the Dodge brand is also hit and miss. I know people who have had great luck with Ford mini vans as well as dodge, but a = number who have had bad times..
I like the Montana/Venture from GM, they feel more sporty to drive and are priced verry well.
I will never ever buy a mini Van, But the GM Mini Vans I like.

if you want the fastest thats new & stock, the new kia/hyundai twins are pretty damn quick, & supposivly very nice
but the new 2008s Chrysler offerings are rumored to have gone up in quality due to new quality controls from Diamler, so i guess the new 5th gens won't suck like the 3rd & 4th gens did
& the Toyotas & Honduhs are pretty nuice too, & pretty easy to work on, body wise
but i guess iots your preferance, do alot of test drives & narrow down what you think is best for you

Honda and Toyota typically get the nod for reliability. But they are expensive new AND used. That reputation helps them hold their value. The Dodge/Chrysler vans tend to score average on the consumer reports - type ratings. I've found my 2000 GCS very reliable. My only complaint is the faulty metal in the strut tower. A bonus to these vans is the availability of parts.
The Korean vans Hyundai and Kia tend to score pretty well, but haven't been around long enough to know for sure.
The newer GM vans are an improvement, but the previous generations (97-04) did poorly on insurance institute off-set crash tests.
