I have a '98 Caravan. The last 3 days I am having a hard time with my transmission shifting into gear. At first I thought it was just my car needing to warm up, but after warming up for 10 minutes, still no shifting. It will finally go into gear, but it creeps along for a while, then jolts and kicks in full gear. Today, I spent 25 minutes in a parking space trying to get out. When I put it into drive it makes a weird noise. I can also hear the noise when my car starts to move. Can someone help. I had the trans checked Saturday. Fluid was Ok. The mechanic put Lucas Trans Fix in, now it seems worse. Please Help. I have to get to work!!!

 

is yours a 4 speed? generaly the 4 speed is not known for its long term quality. i would say your trans is on its final leg. get it checked!
