Got the resistor for $21 at Kahlo here.

Good news is I averaged 23mpg on my trip which was up from 18mpg last time, on a 1300 mile trip that was nice!

 

Ok I'm amazed, 1 month and this thing is not working again lol.. Obviously there is some underlying problem causing it to fail this fast. The only thing I can find is replace Cabin air filter, but I can't even FIND a cabin air filter. The reference location I found was drivers side on the middle interior panel but I see an intake, but no filter nor do I see a way to put a filter in..

Still I cannot imagine a filter could case this thing to fail so quickly, it seemed more like corrosion from condensation when I pulled the last one out, an air filter isn't going to help with that.. Any advice here? Obviously I don't want to replace this thing once a month. and would like to resolve whatever my root issue is before I throw more money away.

 

Maybe try to spray the resistor with WD-40 or silicone to keep it dry?

I had to laugh about finding the A/C filter! I couldn't find it to replace it for routine maintenance. I had to conclude that it doesn't exist.

What does Dodge say about such a defective part?

 

I am calling the dealer in the morning actually.. I am baffled by it.
