When i push the buttonto open,liftgate tries to open but will not unless i have someone else do it and i stand back and help it.But it will close by itself? Please help>do i need to replace the gas shocks do they help it open?

 

i can;t remeber where i read it, but i know i did. it said the liftgate did not work as well in cold weather and the shock could need a little recharging, see dealer.

i read it somewhere as i was researching buying a 07 drand caravan sxt with that option.
