Hi,
We have 2002 dodge caravan with power locks. Just today a new problem has started. When I hit the "unlock" button on either the door or remote I hear a clicking or grinding noise from the drivers door. The door unlocks. There is no noise when the doors are locked.
Any idea what this could be & any idea on the cost to repair this?

my guess is its probably expensive also. But yeah maybe the relay?

 

The drivers door latch assembly needs to be replaced. The lock servo is failing and it is part of the latch assembly.
