kind of a weird one I am dealing with and not sure where to start. The interior lights are not working right on our van and I am getting a strange sound when driving. First off the van is in pretty dang good shape for 190k turns on it.Here is the symptoms.

The door dinger goes off anytime the drivers door is open if the key is in or not. The dome lights are on if the dash light dimmer is in any position other than all the way off. They will turn off if the van is off for 10 minutes or so in the drivewayand then come back on when the door is opened. Problem is they will stay on all the time if the van is running. Not a huge deal but just a pain in the A**.

The sound is like a wheel bearing in the back. I have had it into 2 seperate shops to check the bearing and they say they are good. Recently replaced all 4 tires to see if that would help but it didn't. Thinking maybe it is something up front instead of in back. Any ideas???

Never thought I would like the van as much until we got one. It is the best with kiddies.

I had the same problem on the door dinger with mine. Pulled the dash panel off and disconnected the steering column and reseated everything. Problem went away. But in your case could be the ignition. Dome light? well check the wires between the front door and the cabin. I had broken wires between these that made strange things happen.

Noise, have you had your axles replaced?
