have the oil pressure checked at a trusted garage
could be a faulty pressure sensor for the light
but could also be low oil pressure caused by worn bearings or oil pump itself

I have the same symptoms, took it to the garage, though he didn't have time to check the oil pressure, he still recommended changing the oil sensor/sending unit and use heavier oil. I just changed the oil sensor/sending unit last night, so far the light only came on for a split second. The 3.3L engine has 135K miles.

Good news! Just to update and confirm that the oil sending unit was the culprit for the engine light turning on at stoplights and idle. I drove it all day, city and highway, its cured.
