So I have this '93 Caravan. Well, rather my brother-in-law has it, he was driving it to the gas station and it ran out of gas. We put a few gallons in it to try and get it to the gas station for a fill but it just wouldn't start. We wheeled it back into my Dad's garage and left it overnight, the next day we had a look and used a spark tester and found that it was no longer making any spark. We could also not hear the fuel pump prime at all. The engine does crank over just fine. Dad investigated further and found a module that seems to control both spark and fuel and found some testing information in the Chilton's manual for the vehicle for this module, but it came back as being okay. I got him to disconnect the battery to reset the ECM while I try and get some more info, so here I am What else could cause a problem like this? I'm hoping to not have to chase broken wires down

Any thoughts?

 

Hope you didnt clog your fuel filter. Since you had a empty tank.All the dirt in the tank goes through the lines and could clog them up also.
