Hi all,

My caravan has a groan at low speed (< 5mph) coming from the right front wheel. It happens wether I press the brake or not. A mechanic looked at it and said it was the CV boot rubbing. They pulled the axle, put it back in, but it still happens. He said the CV boot was somewhat worn where it was rubbing.

Is this a common thing? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Sounds to me like bearings and maybe an axle.
