Hey guys, I have a 96 Caravan with the 2.4L motor. Currently the van has the 20-gallon tank (I'm sure you guys already knew that though). Are there any larger tanks available from Dodge or a third party vendor? Something like 25 or 26 gallons?

Do the v6 models have larger tanks that I could use?

Right now I get about 450 miles to a tank but I would like to bump that up to maybe 600 miles to a tank or so.

Don't think you'll find anything stock for this van any larger, but there's a TON of room underneath. Tried calling any of your local car customizers? I bet it would be pretty easy for someone who knows what they're doing to manifold in an auxiliary tank.

 

Nothing you can do. If you do find someone to add a larger tank it will cause the check engine to come on and stay on, no way to make it go out. You will never be able to smog your vehicle with that light on, thus adding a bigger or auxillary tank is a bad idea.
