I always loved the look of the challenger but, never owned one. I think this year might be the year that, I do get one. I'm torn between the SS Camaro and the challenger, it is 10k more then the camaro but, has 49 hp more, thats alot of money .

 

The big thing between the 2 are options and comfort. The Challenger will give you the best options with comfort where the Camaro will give the muscle car effect with the "not to nice" interior and gauges and loss of comfort. That is where the price difference is.

 

hi there ! Yes i haven't driven the camaro they want me too, maybe this week. I had a 69 ss 350/300hp in 69 it was nice car but the assend was like a mustang couldn't stop quick it would jack knife. I don't suppose they will let you roadtest a new srt8, i know my lightning you couldn't when i bought it. The only thing i heard was the rearend is weak on the srt8 , a track guy stated that. Although i do like the camaro meatball set up, all one cage. We'll see my color should be in shortlyfor the srt8 white w/mopar pak not sure what else you can get for it.

 

Everyone always talks about the Camaro being faster. You can mod all you want. Get what looks better to you and what's more comfortable.

I have the RT because there were no srt8 or 392's available,six dealers and in Feb 2011, not a single Srt8.I got my RT for $28,255.
