Yep....You can also avoid the skip shift nonsense by driving this car like it was meant to be driven.

ie.....

Step on the friggen gas pedal.... wind it up in first gear and it'll go into second no problem.

Getting it past the 20 mph threshold in 1st gear (to open 2nd gear gate) is easy and doesn't bring you anywhere near redline. Works for me EVERY time, and a hell of a lot more fun than driving like a grandma and fighting the nanny controls.

Don't worry, you won't hurt anything. Well, except maybe your mileage, and if you're worried about that, you bought the wrong car anyway.

Enjoy the power, you paid for it.

The skip-shift eliminator will solve the problem. Also, if you get a Predator programmer and apply one of the tunes, it will remove the skip shift also without dangling something next to your tranny.

Yep, the C5 Vettes have the skip shift and it is very annoying. You definitly want to get the skip-shift eliminator.
