Question Challenger EVIC

Hey guy, new here .

I was just wondering if my Challenger has the EVIC. I do have the steering wheel controls but when I press the menu button only temperature, trip, and ECO ON show up. From what I've heard the EVIC comes with various other settings which would be nice. Also if I happen to not have it is there anyways to maybe upgrade it or mod it?

It's a 2010 Challenger R/T Classic btw

Owners Manual is always a good place to start. Your salesman should have given you a rundown of all of the controls..Radio and all.(if he/she was a good one)

EVIC is available only as part of the "Electronic Convenience Group" which also includes the key less-go, u-connect, security system, remote start and other goodies. If you don't have these, you wont have the EVIC.

IIRC, the steering wheel controls are included with sound group II, even if you don't have EVIC.

Nah, they're not. I have the SGII with no wheel controls.

He has a 2010....SGII does include the steering wheel controls for the 2010's, whereas the 2009 SGII did not.

Probably the reason SGII went from $285 in 2009 to $910.00 for the 2010's as this is the only difference in the package.
