Went shopping last week! ;)
So, last week I went to NY for some "shopping"
Not that strange?
Well, I'm from Stockholm, Sweden, so not just a short trip for shopping!
And what good shopping, not just clothes and such, i just "happened" to buy a car!
A Dodge Challenger SRT8, 6-speed manual gearbox!
Se the (bad) pic of it!
Well, why go to USA from Europe to buy a used car?
Well, some cars are not imported by the dealers (like the Challenger), and the Currency-rate is to our favour right now so even though I have to ship it in a container on a ship, pay 25%tax and 10% customs fee, and make some alterations (lights mostly) to get it approved over here, it will still be "cheap" compared to buying it ready here!
So right now it is at the Shipping Agent waiting to be put in a caontainer and sent to Sweden. Takes about 6-8 weeks! It's going to feel like a LONG time!
So just wanted to let you guys know that I'm "steeling" one of your cars over to Europe!
Thanx a lot to Steve at Garden City Dodge (Chrysler/Jeep) for all the help!
One question, i forgot (yeah, belive me there were a 100 things to think about!) to check if there is Xenon lights or "regular" lights on this car.
Is there any way to check that using the VIN number? (Need to know to get all the correct certificates here in Sweden)
