Default Additional key/key fob

Hi everyone! My husband and I just bought a 2010 Challenger today and it only came with one key/key fob.

Anybody know how much it's going to cost to get another one made? Do we have to go to a Dodge dealership to get it done?

Thanks so much!!

Laurel

The dealership charges about $300. Check with your local locksmiths. Some have the technology to do the keys and only charge about half that. Not all of them do though.

My dealership charges around $240.
you should call your dealership and ask.
Better yet, your other Option would be install a Mopar remote Start, it comes with 2 keys w/ remote start function, in addition to the one you originally have. for the Challenger, We charge roughly $500 installed.

Oh, I like the sound of that even better I think we'll look into going that route. We've talked about the remote start, so thank you for the info!

Miller Motors in Wisconsin
Key fob $152
Programming $46
Same situation as you, just did it today.

You didn't mention if you had an automatic or manual trans, reason I mention it is I'm not sure they can install remote start on the manual tranny cars.
