Default 2010 srt-8

The local Dodge dealer has a 2010 SRT-8 with 40K miles that LOOKS nice and has a Hurst Shifter with Corsa exhaust.

I did not drive it but they say it is A-OK so what would be a fair offer for it and what problems did Chrysler have with them??

Thanks in advance!!

You should go drive it. Make sure it didn't get abused by the previous owner. Ask the dealer for the service history. It will be in the Chrysler database, at least the warranty history for 24 months anyway.

Thanks for your reply and how are things in the Music City??

I was more curious about known problems with these cars since a 4 year old car at $34K seems a bit of a stretch.....not sure I like 'em that much!!

It's all good here

The engines are ok, but as far as other known issues, about the same as all LX bodies. Front suspension, brakes are expensive, tires are expensive, plug on the transmission leaks, rear axle seals leak, shifter gets stuck in park.

They cost that much, but ooh boy are they fun to drive !

Sounds like a lot of stuff needs fixing on a pretty expensive toy!!

I have had my share of fast cars.....1967 Hemi Charger.....1966 427 Shelby Cobra replica......1967 Austin-Healey Replica (still have)....blown 2004 Mercury Marauder (still have) but I like the looks of the new Challengers and might find one someday??

BTW...they still have it and no bites yet!! $34K might be a bit high??

Thanks for your replies!!
