in 1968 chrysler came out with the .68 Hemi Cuda / Dart. i was at NHRA world points finals Tulsa OCT 68. and saw Ronnie Sox take his Hemi Cuda to 10.80 off the trailer. making it the FASTEST NHRA super stock car. and a little latter NHRA had to make a class just for the Hemi Cuda. and today? they are still VERY fast. i have NEVER seen some clam that they beat one with any thing else. sorry i tend to live in the past.

Bang for your buck performance the Mustang GT is the obvious choice. As much as I love the Challenger, the Mustang is a way more capable car. It's lighter, produces more HP, and is a better handling car, all for only about $1k more.
That being said I can't believe if I was forced to buy a new muscle car, the Mustang would be my pick. I am neither a Ford or a Mustang person.
