Default Transmission

Yesterday I was rideing on the free way in my 2016 challenger rt with the cruise set at 65...then all of a sudden i get a Notification In my dash thats my trans was to hot it was at 279..what could have done that?!

Trans fluid maybe low.
Any signs of a leak anywhere under your vehicle?

Too it to thw dealer today said they flashed it and its ok to go that high long as the red noti isnt blinking sounds dumb!
