Default remote start? 2017 Challenger

Has anyone installed a remote start in a 2017 Challenger?

imo, get a factory remote start system if the option can be added. No cutting for splicing into factory wiring. It works seamlessly with the factory theft system. If you are low on fuel, the system is smart enough to disable the remote start so you don't idle to empty. aftermarket systems add 30mamp draw on the battery all the time; factory systems go to sleep so the system won't add any more draw than what the current vehicle has.

Only downside to factory systems is:
-if dtc are set, the remote start is disabled
-the range is shorter

Agree ^^

Since you are still under warranty, adding aftermarket may void it....pay to get a factory, then it's covered.
