Default Tire pressure

Why is it my car tire (one) loses 10 pounds of pressure overnight? I air it up in the the morning and it’s fine, doesn’t lose any more for weeks maybe a month or two. What could be the problem it’s really annoying at this point? Don’t think it’s the tires they have been changed and it did this before that.

have the tire and rim leak checked. maybe a leak from the valve stem as they are rarely changed with tpm systems.

It may just be temperature change. You know expansion and contraction. Maybe try nitrogen it doesn't expand or contract under temperature change. It will also prevent what people call dry rot, actually rubber fatigue. After you get everything checked for leaks.

you are not going to lose 10psi due to temp change overnight...maybe 2. All gases expand and contract with temp, a pure gas less so. Nitrogen is something not worth paying for....as soon as you go in for an oil change....none of the service bays are n2 equipped so it gets filled with 80% nitrogen.
