Default Seeking knowledge on Mopars CAN BUS system

As the title suggests, I am seeking some knowledge on CAN BUS systems used in the newer 14+ (the year with the updated interior) Challengers. My dad is building a 68 Charger and is swapping all of the interior from a 14+ Challenger into the car. The dash, the infotainment systems, HVAC, DBW, electric power steering, door panels, power windows, everything. He is also is going to be using a 6.4L Hemi from a Scat pack. ABS is also on the horizon but we have some hardware obstacles to overcome first (front spindles not having reluctor rings or WSS provisions). Our end goal is to have everything operating like it left the factory that way.

He has placed me in charge of making it all work like a factory car, one problem. We don't have a donor car to go off of, I am however very experienced in CAN BUS systems for the J1939 protocols and know how to trick systems on big rigs to communicate and such. I figure Mopars protocol isn't much different from Peterbilts/Paccars systems; uses 5V references, uses a specific ohm on the system (Paccar uses 60), incorporates terminating resistors for communication and such. All that said, I really don't know anything about how Mopar uses their system. I know about the STAR connector but have no idea with how its incorporated in their communications. Is it the router? The gateway? Neither? what Baud rate is the system? location of terminating resistors? Does it even use terminating resistors? what ISO is the system classified as? What protocol do they use? Mopar isn't exactly publishing this kind of information. I am hoping someone with some kind of experience in these systems could help me out, either information or point me in a direction that would help.

We don't have a donor car to go off of,
So where are you getting all the component's to swap over? You need the complete wire harness and all the component's. If i was doing something like this i would get a wrecked donor. It's unlikely it will have the 6.4 but all the other stuff you need will be there. You are going to need a detailed wiring diagram also. Go on copart and look for a donor vehicle in your area.

2015+ and newer for the Challengers and you're asking in the wrong place. You need to contact shops that actually do that kind of wizardry for a living (like Hotwireauto.com or some such). Also, like he asked, where are you getting all these pieces without a donor vehicle? Please tell me you aren't trying to buy them all piecemeal....
Highly recommend you get as complete a donor car as you can find because you aren't gonna be able to do all this with pretty much any parts of the 68's factory electrical system (not safely or reliably anyway). Even higher end shops that do stuff like this (like Cleveland PAP, you could probably ask them as well) either have or have had donor vehicles for this purpose. Make your life easier, go here and get one: https://www.copart.com/

We couldn't buy the entire car because the guy parting it out was wanting the shell for a racecar. However we got everything from it. The entire chassis harness, all of the interior, the rear end, suspension, fuel tank, headlights, everything we could have bought. We have talked to shops like Cleveland PAP, they do body swaps, don't really do interior swaps. Hotwireauto doesn't really have much info on the interior stuff or CAN bus, so I guess I am SOL.

Even if you got everything you will need to implement it to some of the existing wiring. This is where you need complete wiring diagrams. Places like hot wire are useless for this kind of thing. Make a list of the things you didn't get, If they guy still has the body the can buss modules that you disconnected the harness from should still be there. If he needed any of them he wouldn't have let the harness go. You want the instrument cluster also if you didn't get it. If he needs anything at least take pics of the part #'s so you can find replacements.
