Exclamation Remote Start Not Working

I have a 2014 Dodge Challenger R/T that I recently purchased, the remote start does not work using either key fob. The horn honks, lights flash but no engine start-the red security dash light also flashes. What could be the problem? Both key fobs work for all other functions-doors, trunk, panic.

If it's the OEM remote start it was built with, there are a few things that will keep it from working. There are sensors for the hood and doors (and trunk I believe). Any MIL (malfunction indicator light, aka check engine light) will disable the remote start as well. Many later models the hood sensor would mess up, I would start there if you don't have any MIL's.
