one thing that i absolutely HATE that chrysler does, is this factory ghetto mod of their new cars..

performance cars DONT NEED 20 inch wheels...they dont need 19 or 18 inch wheels either...hell, 17 is pushing it...i think that these new cars look stupid with a 20 inch wheel and a 2 inch sidewall...

if they release the challenger, and make if affordable, as they are saying that they will...i will have one...and i WILL NOT be getting these ghetto *** wheels, which take more effort to turn, thus reducing whp...i will be taking a steel wheel option..."bling" is for SUVs and slow cars..like my stratus...plus, its expensive to find good tires (DRs) for a 20 inch wheel..and while in know that theyre out there,i will save my money on buying 15 or 16 inch DRs...

but like ive said..im trying to not get my hopes up, because DCX has screwd up before..many times...and if chrysler drops the ball here, it will be the final straw for many people who want a real pony car...and i think that an LS2 GTO or an EvoX would look nice next to the ramcharger...
I COMPLETELY AGREE 110%

These giant wheels SUCK SUCK SUCK. I happen to hate ghetto-gangster culture, but if these "playas" want to ruin their car's performance with unsprung weight and truckload of inertia fine, but that doesn't mean Dodge has to do it on the assembly line.

PLEASE Dodge, at least offer 'small' 17" wheels.

The Challenger badges on the rear are how the later 73 and so version challengers had the nameplate.

I believe the R/T is better than SRT 8, this thing is retro from the start, there was no SRT???

The shifter is a Pistol Grip w/ admitted license in styling, but clearly not the standard "leather wrapped handball" shifters every dang Honda comes with...

The lines are perfect.

The tail lights are pure 1970 w/ a tweek.

I see it!!

This is ignorance at its best ladies and gentlemen. Suburban America is flooded with many of these vehicles you speak of. Don't speak of what you don't know to be true. As my compadre replied above, the both of you are indeed 'haters'.

p.s. hater = one who believes their tastes in worldly possessions supercede all.

i have lived in suburban america, as well as living in downtown pittsburgh, and the "Ghetto". i lived in a section in pittsburgh where i got odd looks because i was white and lived where i did...

these ridiculous wheels are prevalent in suburban america, and the ghetto, because the type of people who use them are obviously more concerned with looks than performance...the 17s on my stratus look better than my 15 inch steelies that i use at the track, but the steelies are "Faster". also, no one makes performance tires for a 21 inch wheel. people who drive performance cars with these gawdy ghetto wheels are posers at best. like the kids at the track who put a bunch of money into their motors, then take the stock 15s off and put on 18s or 19s, and wonder why they go slower...

so kingelvis and myself arent "playa haters", we are "people who know what unsprung weight is"...

and being a "hater" has nothing to do with worldly posessions...its someone who talks down anyone else, for anything...you can be a "hater" for talking trash on someone elses girl, or how they dress, etc.
