Get the system checked by a shop.

I hit cancel instead of post so it two of these show up, that's why.

There is a safety switch on the receiver/dryer in your system. You can jumper it with a piece of wire. If it works normal, your system is low on refrigerant. DO NOT DRIVE IT LIKE THIS!!!! It will destroy your system.

You can get a recharge kit at auto parts stores. These are a can with a quick fill attachment. These will only hook to the low pressure side of the system. Usually near the dryer but I've seen them all over. Unlike the old R-12 systems, it will ONLY go on the low side. Once attached, pull the trigger until the gauge is in the green. Wear safety glasses and gloves as you sometimes get a spurt of pressurized gasses when unhooking the kit.

This should take care of the problem for a while. I've got a '96 Ram that needs a little refrigerant every couple of years. If you need it every couple of months, or even weeks, much less days, you have a leak somewhere. Running low will ruin your compressor. That's why there's a safety switch.
