Has been in shop several times no real fix just goes away costing big money. When accelerating, vehicle will lose power momentarily and hesitate before continuing. plugged in witech and found U0001 logged against tcm,pcm,and Ipc. Removed column cover to access TCM. Unplugged TCM and inspected for loose or pushed out terminals, found no problems at TCM.Tested for power and ground while wiggling hardness and found B+ to stay constant, and resistance to ground to stay .20HMS while being manipulated. when removing back of glove box to access front star connector shared by affected modules, found glove box dampening spring to have nylon strap wrapped around a wire harness to star connector and be only inserted into the mounting tab. Removed dampening spring and rerouted behind wiring hardness. Closer inspection of front star connector showed 3 wire connector C1 to have terminal push out pin 3. Remove connector and verified connector body not broken. Reinserted terminal into connector and verified it locks into place. Reassembled everything and test drove. No loss of communications being logged against TCM,PCM, or IPC anymore. No drivability issues present. Returning to customer. This was back on 7/2/2019 8747 miles. We purchased car in April of 2025 with 9700 miles. drove for 4000 miles and same problem continued towed to Gladstone Dodge. Anybody else have these problems ? see attachments NEED YOUR HELP

 

2017 Challenger now has STAR Connecter replaced 9/26/25
