Default Swapping v6 to v8

Hello so I have a 2011 dodge challenger v6 3.6l. I'm thinking of swapping the motor with a v8, but what i want to know is it better to get a v8 instead or can I swapped motors with little to no extra work I know I'll probably need a new wire harness for the v8 but what else of I swapped motors.

Do you have deep pockets?

Engine, transmission, rear end, suspension, wiring harnesses, motor mounts, brakes, exhaust, PCM, plus other little things that will nickle and dime you. If you can find a wrecked V8 car and you're doing it yourself I'd say it's very doable for $10K.

Just get the car that already comes with it. You have no idea how involved it is because they tailor the electronics to how the car is built. Everyone thinks it's so straightforward and usually find out the hard way, even after being warned. Also, it isn't just an engine. You have brakes, suspension, gearing, etc that are support systems. Even if you got it to work, you'd be driving a V8 powered car with V6 support systems. You'd be a lawyer's liability dream in an accident; not to mention your insurance would likely drop you for modifying the vehicle in such a away and not notifying them ahead of time.
