Default Engine swap

I’m looking to swap a 6.2 hellcat motor into my 6.1 2010 Srt8. Has anyone done it on here and can give me some advice. Any tips or tricks or what I may need to move or get to make the swap work properly. that doesn’t come with the motor. Just looking for advice

Your 6.1 is a non-VVT engine; the 6.2 is a VVT engine. Your stock PCM cannot run it nor will your stock NAG1 trans hold up to it (unless you have the 6sp, then it might....for a while). The PCM required to run the 'cat is two generations (minimum) CAN bus beyond your car's architecture and isn't backwards compatible.
What I would recommend (and would make more sense) is to build what you have. The 6.1 is an excellent engine and you can easily build it for boost. If you have your heart set on having an actual hellcat blower, it can be done: https://dtracing.com/product/hellcat...r-adapter-kit/
Honestly there are so many other better blower options tailor made for your car/engine combo.
What transmission do you have?

I have the T6060 6spd manual trans. I really appriciate the information. I’m still debating on what I wanna do. I’m more looking for information on everything. I know the 6.1 is a monster of a motor to build. I know it’s a great platform however I did not know that you can swap the cat supercharger with an adaptor kit! I definitely want to go boosted but I’m still deciding on whether I want to do supercharger or turbo and I was leaning on turbo. But I’ve been coming across low mileage hellcat motors for a decent price which is why I came on here to ask and get some advice.
