i thought that the Volare Sports were cool...F-bodies OWN!

but seriously, the only sales this thing is going to steal from mustang, if the rumors are true about product, are a few mopar guys who were going to be a GT500...sicne theyre going to grossly overprice this car if its a limited edition model...[:@]
My wifes first car was a Volare 318 2dr, it had bucket seats with a column shifter, power windows and locks, it even had a VINYL ROOF! LOL
It actually was a prety nice car considering it was a pukie green color.

I hear ya on the pricing. They need to offer lesser versions too, maby a 4.7 car or something. My friend at the local Ford dealer says more than half the Mustangs that roll out are V6's.

Trivia.........Did you know that Corinthian leather was something Chrysler made up to make it sound good? It was regular old cowhide, nothing special except for a strange man who hung around with a midget who was obsessed with airplanes.

some years ago mopar power mag ran a whole issue on the early 70 e-body and as they told it the e-body cuda came after the challenger witch was built to get dodges foot in the door of trans-american racing ( thus the 1970 TA challenger ). plymouth was going the way of the rest of the a-bodys with the cuda, but they saw what the dodge crew was doing and wanted in at the last minuite and had to come up with a car in less than a mounth, so the first e-body cudas were built literatley overnight ( as they needed a production car to race and had to start with a challenger shell ) and as a result had a car that meet the t/a requierments but was...well a overnight car. by the end of the 1970 modle year they had the bugs worked out for the most part but those early cudas had sealed the fate of the cuda line. now i'm not knocking the cuda, in fact when i die i want to be buried in a 1971 hemie cuda ht, even if i have to hire some thug to rip one off when i'm on my death bed LOL, but the reserch for tha mag came from chrysler archives so the cuda came first yes, but in e-bodys it was the challenger and it was plymouth who wanted to be like dodge.

on a side note, i'm getting the new challenger if/when she comes out but i'de sell my soul ( well allmost) for a new hemi cuda!

Screw It! I don't care if they call it a 'K' Car! Just make it! (and make it GOOD)
