Is there Going to be An aftermarket for the Challenger
Any engine will respond differently to mods, you have to choose carefully what you do and when
but once they start stacking and working together. Look out
The aftermarket engine-wise is there for the HEMI and I hear the new ones respond very well to mods, especially Chips
The overall aftermarket may take a couple years for the maufacturers to get their grubby hands on somebodys new car and take all the measurements

I believe the aftermarket will be quite plentiful for this puppy. The kicker will be getting mods to cooperate with its computer...still tricky. But 1/2 the fun is messin' with it in the first place!!
The Challenger is going to be a low production car, so don't count on there being much aftermarket support. As withmost anything there will be some that will make stuff for them, but since it's low production the demand for aftermarket stuff won't be sufficient for much support and what will be out there will probably be expensive. It will probably have a little more from the aftermarket than say a V6 Sebring does. I hope I'm wrong and it gets huge amounts of aftermarket support.
