Default Old school hood

Has anyone seen a hood that has the old school scoop. I'm not sure what mode it would have been on but I am thinking of the kind that is wide flat and open in the front. Heres a link, not a real good pick but you get the idea of what i am thinking. help if i add the link

If I spend money on an after market hood it will be lighter weight (IE glass or carbon) and fully functional. I guess if the price was right i would cut a large hole and bolt something on. I probably would't loose any weight that way but I don't think I would add weight, and I would get alot of cold air.

Oh yea, that type of scoop will bring in the air

The OEM hood weighs approximately 25 lbs, you mightbe able to find something lighter.

Their making lexan polycarbonate windows for the Charger now, both front and side. That would cut a lot of weight but it's not very durable.

Don't think I'll get that extreme. I did see a hemi shortblock advetised in Hot Rod Mag, it strokes a 6.1L out to 426CI or 7L. That would be nice if you afford to feed it.

I saw Redfox0099's Magie which is a 6.1 stroked to a 426 at a car show last Saturday, it took 1st place in the 2000 newer class. It has dumps on the midpipe and it sounds like a old school ground-n-pound machine

Here's a pic of his ride

I never thought about a shaker scoop, that would be a close second if I cant find the other hood. That luguge rack has to go though.
