Default exaust mod

in complement to my jba exaust i had no choice but to cut and weld into place a set of magnaflow 11 inch resonators.the drone was just to much for my kids to take anymore and to be honest it was for me too.i took a 2 hr ride to phili i wanted to jump out of the car into incoming traffic lolol.its pretty good now very little drone almost non really and still as loud at wot as before.if you stand in the rear the base is deafing .i havent felt any percievable power lose.besides i dont think resonators realy remove hp anyways.i did notice a little increase in rpm at certain speeds but only around 200 rpms not much.example at 2000 rpm i could cruise at about 70 mph now at the same rpm im at about 68 .imcurious if thats supposed to be ?

I have felt your drone pain, it's a good thing to get rid of it

Not sure about the speed difference at different RPMs. Were you on the same stretch of road with the same weather conditions?

Off subject... any idea what HP your producing withFranks sidewinder cam and heads?

The only posible way exhaust can effect RPM at a give speed is if it loosens the converter. I find that unlikely so i would say your imagining it or having trany problems.

3767,
I, too, had a lowering of RPMs, but after I reprogrammed my ECU with the Superchips. At 70 I used to be around 2200, now I'm 2100or 2050 (according to the tach). I figured it was something SC did. It also definately lowered my MPG (25+ to around 23), but also definately raised my WOW factor!

I'd pay good money to see your all-motor monster against Mango's wild set up with the NOS -- man, oh man, yes sir ree, I'd pay good money to see that .

You twoare just having too much fun .
