so im looking into buying an aftermarket stereo for my baby(charger) and im on crutchfield.com looking up stuff. i found a couple i really like. i check and see if they fit, and both say no. the reason? they have flip down faceplates. so is this a crutchfield bug? or can i really not install an aftermarket stereo because of flip down faceplates? is it not compatible with the adapter you buy to put it in the dash? im confused, why would having a flip down faceplate affect how something fits in your car? i cant see any reasons why it would be a problem in the charger, or maybe im missing something...anyone have any idea on this issue? or can someone ease my mind and tell me i can buy a stereo with fold down/flip down faceplates...thanks!
