I just got a new SRT8 front clip and installed it myself. It looks good, I just finished it up today. I got the break cooler for the front also and it all works with the stock parts.

Here is a pic of the car with no font end on it... Altogether to change the clip took me 3 hours. There were two bolts that were hard to get and in the upper part of the fender and I had to cut a 10mm wrench in half to get at it. The rest was easy as pie...

srteatr,

How much did the srt front cost you and where'd you find it? It does look sharp too. Any problems scraping the front around town? Also, I assume you have the daytona grille insert with the R/T emblem clip on, right? The whole front end setup is nice, real nice.

I got the front clip on craigslist for $350, and it was metallic black pearl. I jumped on it because it matched my color. I do not want to make my car look like an SRT8 but I do not think any after market parts look as good. I want that ramair hood from ramairhood.com and I think my car will be complete. The knose is not too low so I have not had a problem yet. I will lower it with Tein suspension soon and get some 20" wheels.

Mods

SRT8 headers, SRT8 exhaust (soon to be replaced with JBA 3") Superchips tuner and white seats replaced with black R/T package/Daytona seats.

A 10mm 1/4 drive socket, 6" extention and ratchet would have got it. That is how I did mine. I assume you are taking about the short top bolt. I did mine with one socket , ratchet and extention. The nut inside was a little tricky tho.
