Default Spark Plugs - 5.7 Daytona Charger

I did the search thing and blah.

What is the preferred 16 fing spark plugs (16 wow ) that people are buying. I owned jap cars in the past and used NGK. Not sure they are good for American Muscle. I like the Boesch +4. GUess I'll have to take a second mortgage if I get those. The car with the mods is starting to hesitate out of the hole. I want to start with the plugs. The car has 31K miles.

Mds - K&N, Superchip and Borla

Bueller Bueller.Anyone

Thanks Scott

Just go with the OEM plugs Champion RE14MCC4 Copper Plus. Their 1.50 each guaranteed not to break the bank.

You will find good prices at the following web sites: sparkplugs or rockauto

At one time I used theBosch 4314 is the +2 (these are pregapped and sholdn't be changed), their about 5.00.I couldn't tell a differnce from the OEM Champion plugs.

With N20 I'm running NGK V-power (one step colder plug).

Be sure to get some antiseize lub for the threads on the new ones when you swap them out.

I put Champion Platnium (spell) in my wife's '05 Magnum RT. Pretty simple job but yeah....16 plugs ooofda

Sidenote....It is lightyears easier chaning the plugs on the 5.7 Hemis than a Chry 3.0 liter V6. We also have a '91 Plymouth Acclaim with about 130K and man.....those rear plugs are a pain to get to. . Make for a good argument to just stick with V8s.

I have no issues with changing plugs. I have had cars where I had to break my arm in one place and those where I had to dislocate my elbow and then break my arm in three places.

But Baldyloxs' comment about the fly by wire throttle response wire thingy just put me into a head spin.
All I know is I use a good grade ofgas, I have 31K miles and right when I let off the gas in a turn and then tapthe peddleagain it will hesitate. Sometimes when I try off the line it hesitates. Now that I type this andread what I am typing it sounds like a fuel issue.

I am no mechanic by any stretch of theimagination. I did put on the K&NCAI during lunch at work with theassistance of a friend. We worked fast and just did it. I was smart enough to know where to plug the SC in. I have rotated tires and just over the weekendremoved the rotors to have them spun on the rear axel. I would like to take a dig at Michelin now the OEM really suck. I truly love the Yokahoma that I just bought.

But someone else did the Borla 140122 and I have no clue about this fly by night wire throttle response. I'll start looking into it now.
Thanks
