Hello Guys I just installed my Mopar CAI over the weekend and with your help it was very easy to install with no surprises. I did notice that even with the weather strip around the heat shieldhole there still an opening for the hot engine air to come in. Should I try to cover the whole so none of the hot air from the engine will get sucked up by the Air Intake?

 

That's a great idea, as you said it would keep hot air from being sucked up into the CAI.

 

If I remember, I saw pictures of other people charger with the Mopar CAI installed and looked like they used something to cover the space that is between the pipe and the heat shield. Would make sense to block the air passage from the hot engine air.

 

Hmmmmm. Now I gotta go look at mine. [:-]
