Default Power Window Motor

Ineed to replace a power window motor on the passengers rear door.Has anyone heard if there was a bad batch of motors installed? A friend of mine has an '06 300C and had his replaced twice on the same door. I'd take it to the dealer but the warrentyhas passed. I checked the master switch and the door switch with a test light for power and both are fine so i picked up a new motor. I've turned a few wrenches beforeand decided to change it myself. Any suggestions on replacing this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

hey jim

just a FYI - had to make an appointment today with the stealership for the same problem except mine was the back driver rear door.

i only have @1300 mi. on mine and it keeps making a "chugging "sound only while going up. there may very well be a bad batch. hope they aint gonna say that it was damaged when i got the windows 20% tinted

Will keep you posted

My driver side rear was replaced the first week that I owned my car. Problem? Maybe....

I went to the dealer and bought a new motor/regulator and was only $65.00 and changed it in 20 minutes.
It helps when both units are one assembly, 4 bolts and it's out. Everything is fully exposed after removing the plastic door liner. Not like my wifes Mazda, sliced up my wrists fighting with the regulator and motor inside the door. Thanks for the feedback.
