Default Flowmaster Exhaust

Hi everyone, I haven't been on in awhile. Since I am thinking about putting on a exhaust system and a CAI. I wanted to get some of you experienced Charger owner's personal opinion. I have a 2006 black 5.7 hemi charger. I have been debating on this exhaust from Flowmaster with the K&N CAI (http://www.performancecenter.com/pro...rger/5.7l+Hemi). Let me know if anyone has heard this exhaust and what they think. My friend with a BMW M3 is advising me to get a Borla but the price is a lil steep. If I get the Borla then I will wait to do the CAI. But if I get this Flowmaster I will do both. Also I seen links on youtube with Chargers with Flowmaster w/o resonators. I am not that mechanically inclined so I am not sure what they mean. Please can some give me some adive before I make a purchase.

hey welcome back to the site !

have a black 07 with the 5.7 and have the same exhaust setup on mine that i had a done at meineke here in philly. gotta say i was looking at the borla and corsa but thought they were a little pricey too ! i paid @ 600.00 installed with the tips too.

i personally dont think the drone that everyone talks about is that bad - i have a K&N typhoon CAI in front and the flowmasters on the the back and sounds like a monster, always have RUSTANGS revin up at lights then i rev mine and WOW.

i would suggest (if ya dont already) of getting the DIABLO tuner too and put the canned tune in it for now and see what you think - dont think you will be sorry. if ya google street smart designs (one of the higher ups found it) you can get it for 309 + s/h

my one suggestion would be to order over the phone cause when i got mine it came with the old school parallel cable and i needed the usb connector

good luck on your decision and let em know if you need anymore help

I live in Philly as well. Which Meineke did you go to? And did you have to have it with you in hand when you go there, or they ordered it for you? Right now I think I may just stick with the exhaust and CAI for only $780 (not installed). Thanks for the advice

I run SLP Loud Mouth 2 w/ resonators. The drone was too much. With the resos they are great.

I had flowmaster 40's on before and they were worthless. Might as well call them blow-masters.
