Default 2006 Dodge Charger SE

I have a 2006 Dodge Charger. I have 39,000 miles on it. I just had the wheels rotated and started noticing some bad vibrations in the steering wheel and under my feet (approximately.) I took the car back and had them balance the tires also. The vibrations in the steering wheel subsided, but I still feel something sort of under the gas pedal...still a vibration and almost under my seat too. I took the car back (this is just a tire place not a dealership) the man checked the tires again and said he can't see what the problem is, but it's not the tires...they are in balance. Can anyone give me a direction to go? I'm pretty sure I'm out of warranty. The guy did mention maybe a u-joint....my husband is out of town working and so I'm at a loss as to what exactly I should do.
Any ideas appreciated.
Thanks

Hi, and welcome to the forum!

I have, at times, the same sensation. My thoughts are that it's coming from the engine - perhaps the engine craddle to be more exact. Mine doesn't do it all the time, but enough that it makes me wonder sometimes. I also wonder about the exhaust - not really vibrating against anything, but just setting up some harmonics at times. If it does it all the time, I would take it to the dealer and explain the problem. Maybe its something they have seen before and can at least give you some idea.

Sorry - not much help. Let us all know if you find anything definitive.
