Hey to all

quick question for anyone who has upgraded to the NAV system and installed it themselves -

where is the best place to mount the nav antenna ?

just talked to a dealer mechanic and they told me i have to take take the dash top off and there is a place to install under the dash mat but DONT want to/try to do it myself

the radio swap is simple as can be but unsure about the antenna

any help would be appreciated

what i did for mine in my Caliber was when i had bezel for radio off i slipped it inside one of the vents about 4 inches
use the double sided tape it came with and stick it there
you dont see it from inside car
and works perfect

Hey

thanks for the input but what i actually did was just slid it in between the vent ducts.

so far seems to work great and no rattle but mine didnt come with double sided tape
