need help....
I have 2 chargers a 2007 2.7l red charger and I have just had a 2008 sxt Black charger converted to a 12 passenger super stretch Limo.. my new car is about 1 month old and the car felt like the trany. might of slipped . The car was in drive and I hit the gas and it took a few revs before it ingaged... had anyone had that problem out there on the 2008 sxt? but once it ingages ...it wont do it again////
I was having that same problem with my 06 until i took it to the dealer. They checked my tranny fluid level (because there is no dipstick so i can't check it) and told me the fluid is low because there is a leak.
A "Guide Bushing" is defective and covered under warrenty.
The $2.95 bushing is covered, but the $220.00 tranny service charge isn't, which they told me has to be done while they have the tranny apart. LOL

I have a 3.5 - 2008, Mine slipped the second day I after bought the car. Salesman told me to drive it harder. There is something wrong with first gear in these chargers, they read these boards too so they know many of us are having problems but they are not saying anything or giving us any answers, thats a bunch od B.S. They need to step up and act like a man and stand behind their product. Someone needs to assume ownership over these transmission issues.Luckly its a lease (i guess). My 2005 Ram had transmission issues as well. It seemed to just go into neutral by itself when I would start it up, it was an automatic.

I got the Problem fix .. seem the bright people at the dealership forgot to prepp the car right and was missing 2 1/2 quarts of transmission oil and burned out the tranny. but since the car had only 2000 miles on it it was totally covered .. thank god ... now the everything is great.. thank you all .. and thank you Dodge ... Frankinstein is alive !!!!!
