Default Dodge Charger having SERIOUS problems.

My 2006 Dogde Charger is overheating. It has been very well maintained (I have records) up to this point.

I have taken it to the dealership (where I bought the car) over six times and they cant fix the problem.

They have replaced thermostat - 3 times, sensor, timing belt, front fans, radiator, etc

They have troubleshooted it here til Monday and back - they still cannot fix it.

The car is till under the 3 years or 36000 mile warrenty. I want them to switch it out...but the service guy said, because "its was not bought new...they cannot do that".

I think that is BS...because I spoke to Finance guy at the Dealership and he said..the warranty is good even if I bought it from them used.

I am confused. Any one know how the warranty process works?Like if I need to get another car how would that work? We are beyond trying to fix it.

The warranty is a factory warranty, not a dealer warranty, they have to fix the car as long as the car isn't over the milage or the time frame. The dealer repairs the problem and Chrysler pays them. I would threaten to call the district service manager for Dodge and see what happens. I can almost guarantee they will change there mind about what you want to do. Hope this helps you. good luck!
