replace drivers sun visor

I thought I could replace the sun visor with no problems. Well at least I thought so. When I removed the screws to the existing visor, I could not locate and unplug the connector (which powers the light to the vanity mirror).
Is there a way to access and unplug this connector without having to tamper with the head liner???? Please help!!!!
