Default ETC Light???

Hey, people. It's been awhile since I last posted something, but I need some help. I started my car this morning, and noticed that my ETC (Electric Throttle Control) light was flashing. I went to my manual, and it told me to go into Park and turn off the engine. I did that, and when my car started again, it didn't show up. Did I reset it??? What exactly is it anyways and what do I need to do???

Thanks...

The code must have been cleard. If it comes back check to see if there is a DTE code...

With the engine off
turn the key from ACC to On
Trun it back to ACC and then On
Trun it back to ACC and then stop with the key in the On position
Any DTC codes will be displayed one after another where the milage normally is and -- done -- will be displayed at the end. If there were no codes -- done -- will be the only thing you will see.

The procedure requires that your car has EVIC that is part of the electronic convenience group option.
